Luna

The Luna mission is Eclipse NMBU's first mission. The mission comprises of a weather balloon payload made from balsawood. The objective of the mission is to attempt to track the payload as it moves through the air, take photos using an internally mounted camera, and test the usability of balsawood as a more eco-friendly material for weather balloon payloads.

Titan

Titan is a mission where we are participating in a Lunar Robotic Competition (LOOK). 2026 is the first year for the competition, and hopefully it will go on for several years. The mission is to solve different tasks in a simulated lunar environment. Since Eclipse has a large mass of robotics students, we could not resist the opportunity to combine our knowledge in space and robotics!

Atlas

Atlas is Eclipse NMBU's largest project so far since its establishment in autumn 2024. The goal is to develop a cubesat that will be launched with Propulse NTNU's next rocket at the end of July 2026. It will challenge us in all aspects of satellite development and teach us a lot about important topics within space technology.
